Private Events
Black Walnut Point Inn’s gates to the bird sanctuary are closed to the public at 5pm daily, so renting the entire property is easy. The half-mile drive to the six-acre grounds surrounded by miles of open water offers unique privacy for a one-of-a-kind social event, family reunion, fund-raiser or private board meeting.
Seminars and Retreats
Black Walnut Point Inn hosts seasonal seminars such as bird watching during migrations, knitting, writing and vocal seminars during the winter, and workshops in photography and martial arts in the spring. We are open to suggestions for ways to utilize our spectacular location, and would be happy to talk with you about coordinating a retreat for your church or social group.
Corporate Retreats
Because of the Inn’s size and setting, we can provide an excellent atmosphere for focused planning sessions, year-end reviews or brain storming sessions. With a boardroom table set up on the sun porch and many secluded places for break-out meetings, Black Walnut Point Inn can get you out of suits and lobbies to help you look at things from outside the box. |
